In order to honour John Arnold’s legacy, the House is committed to creating movements that meet high standards of both technical and aesthetic quality, in line with the historic timepieces. Some key requirements for the Eight-Day include a long power reserve, integrated indicators, and a slim case. Therefore, careful consideration was given to the placement of each element to ensure the best arrangement for the dial displays.
The Eight-Day has a 43mm diameter and a stainless steel case that is only 10.7mm in height. When viewed from the side, the case steps and tapers from top to bottom, with the widest section accommodating the extra-large glass and the lower part narrowing to fit snugly on the wrist. The timepiece naturally features an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and case back to view the intricate details of the movement.
