Czapek & Cie’s Antarctique S Mirrored Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition embodies the brand’s philosophy of blending high-end mechanics with aesthetic creativity. This edition reinterprets the Antarctique’s sporty elegance with a striking mirrored dial, developed in collaboration with MD’Art. For the very first time for Czapek & Cie, the dial is made from a single silicon wafer – a semiconductor better known for its use in microelectronics and photovoltaics. A very thin disc of the crystalline silicon is polished to create a perfectly smooth and shiny surface before a fine PVD coating of platinum is applied, amplifying the reflective qualities of the silicon wafer.
