As we approach the Year of the Wood Snake in 2025, Longines is proud to present a special edition of its CONQUEST HERITAGE model. Renowned Chinese artist Wu Jian'an was invited to create a unique design featuring a mystical snake holding a Lingzhi mushroom in its mouth, intricately engraved on the case back. In East Asian culture, the snake symbolizes elegance, wisdom and transformation. Known for its intuition and resilience, the snake also symbolizes rebirth and encourages reflection and personal growth. Limited to 2 025 pieces, the CONQUEST HERITAGE YEAR OF THE SNAKE features a gradient red dial accentuated by the collection's signature gilt hands and indexes

Celebrating the first Conquest models, the Conquest Heritage line appeals to all lovers of vintage design, effortlessly blending the classic style of the 1950s with modern watchmaking technology. The new Conquest Heritage Year of the Snake honours this legacy while incorporating traditional East Asian elements.
The snake holds a significant place in East Asian culture, symbolising wisdom, rebirth and infinite vitality. It represents hope for a bright future. In honour of the lunar Year of the Snake, Longines has collaborated with Chinese artist Wu Jian’an to reinterpret the story of ‘Stealing the Immortal Herb’ from the famous Chinese tale ‘The Legend of the White Snake’. Wu’s design, titled ‘Divine Snake Presents Treasure’, combines the depth of East Asian cultural heritage with a contemporary artistic expression. The emblem depicts a snake clutching a Lingzhi mushroom, its form spiralling into concentric circles, evoking ripples that symbolise the passage of time and the continuity of life.
