THE LONGINES MASTER COLLECTION
The winged hourglass brand is extending The Longines Master Collection range and offering its female customers the Moon. This model’s 34 mm steel case houses an automatic movement developed exclusively for Longines, the L899 calibre. It has a moon phase display at 6 o' clock rimmed with a date ring with Arabic numerals, on which a hand points to the current day. The femininity of this piece is enhanced by a white mother-of-pearl dial with diamond hour markers and an elegant red leather strap.
Since its inception, the Longines DolceVita has been an homage to the sweetness of life. Today, Longines introduces the models blending rose gold and steel that enrich the collection. The steel case of this 23.3 x 37 mm model is set with diamonds and features a solid rose gold crown. This timepiece displays a silver-coloured “flinqué” dial adorned with painted Roman numerals and a rose gold hourglass. It is mounted on a steel and rose gold cap bracelet.
The HydroConquest collection now includes rose PVD for an additional touch of elegance. Each streamlined timepiece asserts a bezel featuring a ceramic insert in the same colour as the dial. Featuring a steel and rose PVD bracelet, its 41 mm case contains a self-winding mechanical movement (calibre L888.5). Water-resistance to 300 metres, a unidirectional rotating bezel, a screwdown crown and case back, and a double security folding clasp with an integrated diving extensionpiece are all features that accentuate the character of this collection.
Inspired by the original Longines Ultra-Chron Diver of 1968, the new model and its new high-frequency calibre represent the first reinterpretation of what sets Longines apart – its status as a pioneer in the world of sports timing. It will appeal to both vintage watch aficionados and lovers of high technology. The accuracy of the Longines Ultra-Chron is confirmed by its certification as an “ultra chronometer” by TIMELAB, an independent testing laboratory in Geneva. This designation goes beyond the usual “chronometer” certification.
